Broken Denture?
Quite often a denture can break purely by accident; dropped in the sink when cleaning, knocked off of the night table or even that the puppy got them, we have heard it all! Sometime though there are more worrying reasons. Ill -fitting dentures create unequal pressure and opposing teeth can cause damage. When we repair your denture we will ask you how it broke, it is important to us that you have the information you need to keep your dentures in tip top condition as further treatment may be required.

Sandra will meet with you to get to know you and what you want to achieve, she will conduct a quick oral examination, don’t worry, this is just a quick look to see what’s going on in there.
You will be asked to complete a medical history form, we need to know if you have any ongoing problems or have had previous denture treatment that didn’t work for you. Sandra needs this to make sure that any advice or treatment is tailored specifically for you, this is of course, kept safe and confidential.
Sandra will then chat through all of your options, listen to any questions you have and answer them, jargon free and face-to-face.
After your consultation Sandra will write to you detailing everything discussed and provide you with a treatment plan so you know exactly what will happen if you decide to proceed.
Sandra feels it is hugely important that you have all the information you need before you make a decision, we don’t want to sell you something, we want to help you to make the right decisions, within your budget and in your own time.
So many choices…
There are many different ways we can provide you with your perfect smile, high quality traditional dentures through to implant retained over-dentures. Not all may be suitable which is why a free consultation is so important.
REPAIRS
If your denture had broken or cracked or you have lost a tooth then just pop in. We can usually repair your denture within 4 hours, often a lot sooner.
RELINES*
If your denture is not fitting you well, is uncomfortable or loose and you having trouble keeping it in place or are finding eating difficult then we can replace the fitting surface to exactly mould to your mouth. This service can be carried out with two appointments on the same day so you don’t have to be without your teeth for too long.
ADDITIONS*
If you are a denture wearer and need to have a tooth or teeth extracted we can add to your existing denture, often on the same day your Dentist extracts the teeth meaning you will be able to confidently smile and eat well straight away.
DENTURES
If you have no natural teeth (or roots) we can make you a beautiful full set of dentures. If you do still have some natural teeth then we can make perfectly fitting partial dentures*.
There are a variety of different methods and products that are available and through discussion with you the right solution will be identified.
IMPLANT DENTURES*
Working with specialist implant dentists we can provide you with beautiful implant retained dentures if these are suitable for you. A consultation with both us and the specialist dentist can establish and explore this option with you.
